Log Files

Trueway Realty follows a standard procedure of using log files. These files log visitors when they visit websites. All hosting companies do this and a part of hosting services’ analytics. The information collected by log files include internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamp, referring/exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks. These are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable. The purpose of the information is for analyzing trends, administering the site, tracking users’ movement on the website, and gathering demographic information.

Like any other website, Trueway Realty uses “cookies”. These cookies are used to store information including visitors’ preferences, and the pages on the website that the visitor accessed or visited. The information is used to optimize the users’ experience by customizing our web page content based on visitors’ browser type and/or other information.

Third-party ad servers or ad networks uses technologies like cookies, JavaScript, or Web Beacons that are used in their respective advertisements and links that appear on Trueway Realty, which are sent directly to users’ browser. Note that Trueway Realty has no access to or control over these cookies that are used by third-party advertisers.

Facebook and Instagram data (Trueway Agents – Social & Marketing Hub)

Trueway Agents is a platform operated by Trueway Realty LLC. Its Social & Marketing Hub lets authorized users connect Facebook Pages and Instagram professional accounts to publish posts, read and reply to comments and view performance metrics.

Information we receive from Meta
When a user chooses to connect a Facebook Page or an Instagram professional account, and only with the permissions the user approves in the Meta login window, we receive: the ID and name of the selected Facebook Pages; the ID, username and name of the connected Instagram professional accounts; the access tokens issued by Meta for those Pages and accounts, with the permissions granted and their expiration date; and, when the user opens the corresponding screens, the posts published from the platform and their links, the comments and replies on those posts (including the commenter’s public name), and Page and account metrics such as reach, impressions and interactions.

How we use it
We use this information only to provide these features to the user: publishing and scheduling the posts they create, showing comments and sending the replies they write, and showing metrics of their Pages, accounts and posts. We do not sell it, we do not use it for advertising or to build profiles, and we only share it with Meta when the user asks the platform to publish, reply or read comments and metrics.

How we store and protect it
Meta access tokens are encrypted (AES-256-GCM) before they are stored, are used only by our servers to call Meta’s APIs on the user’s behalf, and are never sent to the browser. Images uploaded for posts are stored in a private storage bucket and shared with Meta through temporary signed links. Comments and metrics are read from Meta when the user opens the corresponding screen and are not stored.

Disconnect and delete your data
Users with permission can disconnect a Facebook Page or Instagram account at any time from Social & Marketing Hub › Settings in Trueway Agents; its access tokens are deleted immediately. You can also remove our app from your Facebook settings (Settings & privacy › Settings › Business integrations) or your Instagram settings (Website permissions › Apps and websites); Meta notifies us and we revoke the connection and delete its access tokens. When you remove the app you can also send a data deletion request: we delete the access tokens and the name and username of the connected accounts, and Meta shows you a confirmation code and a link to check the status of your request. You can also request deletion by email to office@truewayrealty.com with the subject “Data deletion request”; we will complete it within 30 days.

Disconnecting an account in Trueway Agents only removes it from the Hub; it does not remove the permissions granted to our app in Meta. To remove them, remove the app from your Facebook or Instagram settings as described above. A data deletion request does not delete the posts created in Trueway Agents or the content already published on Facebook or Instagram; that content stays until you delete it from Trueway Agents or directly on Facebook or Instagram.
